Cut performed to expose the wall cavity for drying, inspection of insulation and framing, and removal of porous material that cannot be dried in place within the standard drying window. Consistent with IICRC S500 guidance for affected gypsum in Category [X] conditions. Verify against the current published edition of IICRC S500.

6-mil poly containment installed with zippered access to isolate the work area from unaffected portions of the structure. Negative air machine with HEPA filtration deployed inside containment to capture airborne particulate during demolition and drying.
