Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of F9 Notes. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these terms and by our Privacy Policy and Legal Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Permitted Use

F9 Notes is a free resource provided for professional and educational use. You may view, copy, and use the documentation notes in your own property insurance estimates and related work. You may not resell, redistribute as a competing database, scrape in bulk, or otherwise commercially exploit the directory as a whole without our prior written permission.

Your Account

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for abuse.

User Submissions

When you submit a note or other content, you represent that it is your own work or that you have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or contain confidential claim, customer, or policyholder information. Do not submit personally identifiable information about claimants, insureds, or third parties. Submitting confidential, proprietary, or personally identifiable information about any claimant, insured, policyholder, or other third party is strictly prohibited. Any such submission may be removed immediately and may result in suspension or termination of your account. You are solely responsible for ensuring that anything you submit has been appropriately de-identified and contains no confidential claim information.

License You Grant

By submitting a note or other content, you grant F9 Notes and its operators a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to review, edit, adapt, format, publish, display, reproduce, and distribute that content, and any edited or derivative versions of it, in connection with F9 Notes and its products, in any media now known or later developed.

You retain ownership of the original content you submit. However, the license you grant for any content that has been published or incorporated into F9 Notes materials is irrevocable and perpetual with respect to that published or incorporated content and any derivative versions, and it survives the closure of your account. This allows us to maintain the integrity of the directory and of any guide, compilation, or other work that already includes your contribution. We are not obligated to publish, retain, or continue to display any submission, and we may decline, edit, or remove any submission at our discretion.

Editorial Standard

Submissions are reviewed before publication. We may approve, edit, or decline a submission based on accuracy, neutrality (content should not advocate for one side of a claim over another), absence of promotional content, and proper, descriptive use of third-party trademarks. Approval is at our editorial discretion and is not a representation that any submission is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular use.

Prohibited Conduct

• Using the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
• Submitting false, misleading, infringing, or confidential content.
• Submitting confidential, proprietary, or personally identifiable information about any claimant, insured, policyholder, or other third party.
• Attempting to disrupt, attack, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
• Automated scraping, harvesting, or bulk extraction of the directory.
• Impersonating any person or misrepresenting your affiliation.

Intellectual Property & Trademarks

The F9 Notes name, branding, and the compilation and organization of the directory are the property of F9 Notes and its operators. All third-party product and company names referenced on the site are the trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners, and are used for identification and reference purposes only. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The site and all content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. F9 Notes does not provide legal, insurance, or other professional advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, F9 Notes and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless F9 Notes and its operators, and their respective owners, from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) content you submit, including any claim that your content infringes the rights of a third party or contains confidential, proprietary, or personally identifiable information; (b) your use of the site; or (c) your violation of these Terms of Use or of any applicable law. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense of that matter.

Copyright Complaints

F9 Notes respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe content on the site infringes a copyright you own or control, please send a written notice to our designated agent at the address below that includes:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
• Identification of the material you claim is infringing and its location on the site (such as a URL) sufficient for us to locate it;
• Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address);
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf; and
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or your use of the site are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any such dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
